Mallory Trecaso is an artist currently based in her hometown of Akron, Ohio. She is a recent graduate of The University of Nebraska - Lincoln with her MFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in photography where she was also an instructor of record and held a graduate teaching assistantship. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the University of Akron, along with minors in printmaking, art history, and commercial photography. She is the recipient of the Edgren Tuition Fellowship and is a Hixson-Lied Graduate Fellow and a Kimmel Fellow. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and her current body of work, Restorative, examines intimate views of a home's interior that metaphorically embody her physical self. She will also be an artist in residence at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City, Nebraska for April 2020.
